Espace Weisshorn is not merely a restaurant, but rather a sensory experience in its own right, a dialogue between the past, present and future. The fruit of a joint project between the Sorebois collective and Remontées Mécaniques de Grimentz-Zinal SA (RMGZ), Espace Weisshorn is a collaborative accomplishment embodying expertise, passion and savoir-faire.

A veritable future project, the new pearl of the Val D’Anniviers will welcome its first guests in autumn 2023. It will also be available to hire as an event location for seminars, banquets and weddings most of the year.
Named “Espace Weisshorn” after the highest peak visible from the future dining room, the complex will include a restaurant with table service for around 180 guests, a snack bar to replace the former Bar-à-Pente and a panoramic terrace.
The new head chef, Davide Esercito, will let his creativity and attention to detail shine through in each of his dishes, highlighting local produce. The four-season cuisine will continue to be showcased, in an “eco-responsible” approach where the menu will evolve according to seasonality.
The restaurant will favour short supply chains and local producers and artisans in order to showcase the region playing host to this sustainable and innovative project.
A 360° view
In line with our commitment to an extraordinary experience, our panoramic terrace offers you a unique place to escape and a treat for all the senses. The terrace can be reached directly via the Zinal-Sorebois-Espace Weisshorn gondola lift and offers an unbeatable view of the Imperial Crown. With soothing lounge music creating a chilled atmosphere and a selection of sophisticated cocktails, it is the ideal location for a moment of mindful and memorable relaxation. This haven of peace at an altitude of 2,700 m is sure to become your new favourite spot in the heart of the Val d’Anniviers.
Summer season
The rooftop is open every day, weather permitting, and is accessible as soon as the restaurant opens.
Service from 10am to 4pm, with extended hours on Saturdays, so you can enjoy the view at aperitif time.
Snack
Located next to the stations of the Grimentz–Sorebois and the Zinal-Sorebois-Espace Weisshorn gondola lifts, the new Schuss Bar invites you to gaze upon the Imperial Crown and its peaks above 4,000 metres.
Whether you choose to eat in or take away, the Schuss Bar offers “Slope Food” – fast food to eat on the go. Authentic recipes in a truly unique setting.
Summer season
The Schuss Bar will be closed during the summer season. It will open exceptionally for private events organised in the Espace Weisshorn restaurant, offering a gastronomic experience at the summit of the estate.
The tableware we use here is entirely biodegradable and made from recycled materials:
– The cups are made from PLA: polylactic acid. This polymer is biodegradable in industrial composting. A biosourced homopolymer, PLA can be obtained from corn starch, making it the first natural alternative to polyethylene.
– Our cutlery is made from recycled wood, and all our packaging is compostable and made from renewable raw materials such as bamboo, bagasse and sugar cane.
Living in the heart of an environment that must be preserved, we pay particular attention to our waste and its recycling.

In addition to its culinary delights and charming setting, Espace Weisshorn is also an exceptional location for private functions. Our complex is able to host seminars, banquets and weddings over most of the year and can be tailored to suit your requirements so that every occasion sticks in your memory for all the right reasons. With a majestic view of the Imperial Crown, your guests will be immersed in an environment uniting natural grandeur and sophistication.

- A new gastronomic chapter at Espace WeisshornThe Espace Weisshorn welcomes a new management couple, Sophie Pittet and Christophe Tinguely, who bring their passion and experience to the restaurant business. Originally from Fribourg, but very attached to the heart of Anniviers, they successfully ran the Allières gîte in La Berra for six years. Their sense of welcome and attention to detail promise an unforgettable customer experience. In the kitchen, talented chef Davide Esercito joins the team. His impressive track record, including starred establishments in Italy, Brussels, London, Ovronnaz and Geneva, and his current role as Executive Chef at the Chalet Royalp Hôtel & Spa in Villars-sur-Ollon, guarantee exceptional cuisine. His creativity and commitment to local and seasonal produce will be at the heart of his creations, offering a unique gastronomic experience at the Espace Weisshorn.
